Special papers and cardboard represent a group of paper products with high added value, designed for specific applications such as protective packaging, high-quality printing, or specialized technical uses. These products include kraft papers for bag production, insulation papers, and papers with high resistance to moisture or mechanical stress. Cardboard is a thicker and more durable type of paper used for the production of packaging, cartons, or special layers for industrial use.
Process of manufacturing special papers and cardboard:
- Wood processing: In our conditions, typically spruce is processed into pulp, which is the basic material for paper production.
- Pulp: After being processed chemically or mechanically, pulp is obtained, which can then be bleached or left unbleached.
- Paper formation: The pulp is processed on paper machines, where various additives are added for specific properties, such as resistance to water or mechanical damage.
- Finishing and modification: The paper and cardboard are modified according to customer requirements, including lamination, printing, or folding into the desired shape.
